 |
morphAll of the characters in Final Fantasy VI have a special ability unique to them. Terra's special ability is morph, which allows her to turn into her esper form in battle. 
Terra's esper form is humanoid, likely due to both her father's humanoid appearance and her mixed blood. Like her father, Terra's features are almost beast-like, but decidedly more human than her father. Purple-white and flashing gold, esper Terra is a fearful sight to behold, as well as a force to be reckoned with. Terra can retain this form for a limited time, during which her strength and magical attack are greatly raised. As the game progresses, the length at which she can keep her esper form lengthens. I'm not 100% sure on this, but if you refrain from using Morph in battles, when you do choose to use it, the time Terra can remain in esper form is lengthened. Morph is available after Terra reacts to Valigarmanda the second time and is forcibly tranformed into her esper form.
